bucket list

i got bored so i made this up. a few things that i need/want/have to do before i turn 30. kind of silly. not yet done, though. still in the process of adding/revising stuff. of course i am open to suggestions and ideas as i am out of those right now.

1. finish a marathon

2. finish ironman 70.3

3. get a tattoo

4. travel the philippines

5. learn how to speak in french

6. climb 30 mountains

7. go overseas

8. learn how to surf. legit-style.

9. take contemporary dance lessons

10. learn how to drive stickshift

11. attend a music festival, day in, day out

12. donate blood

13. become a medical doctor

14. play the guitar again

15. learn to develop my own roll of film

16. have enough money to backpack europe

17. learn how to do a tennis smash

18. cook the perfect lasagna

19. go cliff-diving

20. dive at 30 different dive spots

Of course anyone who truly loves books buys more of them than he or she can hope to read in one fleeting lifetime. A good book, resting unopened in its slot on a shelf, full of majestic potentiality, is the most comforting sort of intellectual wallpaper.
